All allegations of research or publication misconduct are taken seriously and are investigated promptly, fairly, and confidentially. The journal follows internationally recognized best practices for handling suspected misconduct.

Allegations of Misconduct

Allegations of misconduct may be raised by authors, reviewers, editors, readers, or third parties at any stage of the publication process. The editorial office will conduct a preliminary assessment and may request explanations, original data, ethical approval documents, or other supporting evidence from the authors. When necessary, the journal may communicate with the authors' institutions, ethics committees, funding agencies, or other relevant organizations during the investigation.

Research Misconduct

Research misconduct includes, but is not limited to:

• Plagiarism and self-plagiarism
• Data fabrication or falsification
• Image manipulation
• Duplicate or redundant publication
• Simultaneous submission to multiple journals
• Citation manipulation
• Guest, gift, or ghost authorship
• Undisclosed conflicts of interest
• Manipulation of the peer-review process
• Failure to obtain required ethical approval for research involving humans or animals
• Submission of false or misleading information during the publication process.

Data Integrity

Authors are responsible for maintaining accurate and complete research records. The editorial office may request access to anonymized raw data or supporting documentation to verify the validity of the reported findings. Failure to provide the requested information may result in rejection of the manuscript or retraction of the published article.

Investigation Process

All allegations will be evaluated objectively and confidentially. The journal will provide authors with an opportunity to respond before a final decision is made. Independent experts or relevant institutions may be consulted where appropriate to ensure a fair and impartial investigation.

Editorial Actions

When research misconduct is confirmed, the journal may take one or more of the following actions:

• Reject the manuscript.
• Request corrections or revisions.
• Publish a correction or erratum.
• Issue an Expression of Concern.
• Retract the published article.
• Notify the authors' institution, ethics committee, or funding agency where appropriate.
• Decline future submissions from the responsible author(s) for an appropriate period.

Corrections and Retractions

If errors or ethical concerns significantly affect the reliability or integrity of a published article, the journal may publish a correction, expression of concern, or retraction. Retractions may be issued when research findings are unreliable due to misconduct, major errors, plagiarism, duplicate publication, unethical research practices, or manipulation of the publication process.

Appeals

Authors may appeal editorial decisions related to research misconduct by submitting a written explanation together with supporting evidence. Appeals will be reviewed independently by the Editor-in-Chief or an appropriate editorial committee, and the decision following review will be final.

Policy Compliance

By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that their research has been conducted honestly, ethically, and in accordance with the journal's policies. The journal reserves the right to investigate suspected misconduct before or after publication and to take appropriate action to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record.
